The model line of crane panels and electric crane control systems allows to select extremely economical, reliable and simple solution of TEDF type with the use of thyristors, and modern, energy-efficient variant of TEDF-KM type on the base of frequency converters and Siemens PLC.
   Different hardware options can be provided for and included into the crane control systems, they are:

• operator’s crane control unit;
• discrete and analog joysticks;
• technological registration of drums load (weight measurement);
• ultrasonic anti-collision system;

• video-monitoring system;

• electronic anti-sway and anti-screw control system;

• electronic straight-run control;

• fire alarm of smoke generation;
• heating and air conditioning;
• cable towing chains, drums, multiconductors;
• power supply for radio stations;
• loud-speaking communication and other communications according to the technical tasks.

   The programmable logic controller and operator’s panels allow realizing the wide spectrum of functional opportunities, such as:

• statistics and archiving of crane alarm messages;
• statistics and archiving of analog signals in time;
• detailed statistics and monitoring of crane engine parameters;
• indication of crane frequency converter status and control words;
• engineering functions and interlocks for the technical personnel;
• symbolic circuit of safety switches and crane work;
• symbolic circuit of main linear contactor assembly and other ones according to the technical tasks.

   The software has been already developed and the following Siemens HMI operator’s panels are widely used: OP73, OP77, TP177, MP277.
